Plumbing Issues

And, I had to empty 1/3 of my closet for this part of the repair. The pipe on the right actually comes out the back of the shower. This is the culprit of this disaster!

We have some sort of draining device down our kitchen sink...

We have fans and air filters drying it out and buckets to catch any additional water that may drip...

Out kitchen ceiling is gaping open...

Currently our house is in turmoil mid a major plumbing repair...here are some pics of what we are dealing with!

On my first day of graduate school I was welcomed into the ASU College of Nursing & Healthcare Innovation with a ceremony called Lighting the Torch. It was a welcome for all of the entering graduate students. We listened to some speakers, met some faculty, and received pins and motivational posters. It was so great of Nick to come!

Palm Springs Trip

Overall it was a really cool "tourist" activity!

We saw this crazy alligator lizzard. I'm glad this isn't the one that keeps getting into my pantry...

Our "tourist" activity was going on a tram that rotated 360 degrees up to a park at 10,000+ feet. This is the tram.

Maybe Lucky the Pig will bring me some luck with school this year...

Sarah & I decided to head out to Palm Springs for some outlet shopping before my school started full-time... As usual, we had a ton of fun and shopped too much :0) We even did a "tourist" activity this time!

Mike & Maggie had a beautiful wedding at IHM and reception downtown! It was so nice to see my friends and celebrate the happy couple!

But, he's a cute little bugger!

He didn't like his bath too much...

He lays on his tummy, and his back legs look like chicken legs...especially when he crosses them!

He loves to sleep...A LOT!

Shortly after Bob & Colleen headed back to Michigan I followed for Mike & Maggie's wedding and Mom's birthday! I finally got to meet the new puppy while I was there. Mom & Dad are loving him! He is so tiny & cute!!!

True to form, Nick got "too hot" with the poncho on and took it off mid show. That was just before he got drenched with a spray of cold banana like nasty stuff. The shirt was unsalvagable!
