HAPPY 2010
Yes, there are no pictures from NYE. We spent the night exhausted on the couch with our one remaining guest (Dad). Nick and I barely made it to midnight. Dad did not. These pictures are from NYD. This was Dad's first day of retirement. HAPPY RETIRMENT DAD! We are so proud of you! Congrats on 32 years at GM. BUT, remember, the best is yet to come :0)

Dad's Cupcakes with LOTS of candles! He was surprised :0)
Even though I was skeptial, this was MY FAVORITE GIFT!
Although I was skeptical about getting a sink for Christmas, I am SO GLAD we did!!! THANK YOU STEVE!!! AND I will say, Nick can now play fantasy football each year, as long as he continues to win the league (AND $500) so I can continue to do things around the house. (The faucet was compliments of fantasy football). The after is soooo much better than the before...wouldn't you agree?!?!
AFTER
After Christmas Fun
Before Steve & Al left we had to tackle Camelback Mountain! When we got to the top we were so surprised, it was decorated for Christmas!!! Some of the trees had ornaments and garland. There was even a fake tree up there all decorated :0)
Getting ready to head back down to the car and to Sweet Tomatoes Breakfast!!!
Just getting to the top! look at the decorated tree behind Dad!!!

Christmas 2009~Dad & Mom and Steve & Al
We enjoyed Christmas Eve/Day with Dad & Mom and Steve & Al. The Girard men golfed on Christmas Eve and we went to Mass at our favorite Church. Then we enjoyed dinner, drinks, and Wii. Christmas day was relaxing. We enjoyed presents, naps, an awesome mexican style breakfast made by Nick & Al and a Honeybaked Ham dinner prepared by them as well!

Yummy rosemary potatoes!
Al was dressed in red & green...and eating Honeybaked Ham
This pretty much sums up Christmas Eve...Crown & Bombay

Chritmas 2009~Dad & Mom and Bob & Colleen
Although Bob & Colleen couldn't stay very long, we had a really great time with them. We made & decorated Christmas cookies, hiked, shopped (Bob & Nick even did some TOP SECRET shopping), & had a really nice (early) Christmas with them. They were fortunate to get home in time for Christmas with the McGees. We were sorry they had to leave so quickly, but the BEST Christmas news came when they arrived home, they are GETTING MARRIED!!! Congrats to Bob & Colleen :0)
In the back yard before we dropped them off at the airport!
We gave Dad an early present (a Dale Earnhardt book)! Mom opened two gifts too. She will be getting a massage (compliments of Bob & Colleen). Plus, it wouldn't be Christmas for Mom without her Precious Moment!
Colleen loved her Twilight Box Set! Too bad she had to carry that thing the whole way back to Michigan :0(
