Palm Springs Trip

Overall it was a really cool "tourist" activity!

We saw this crazy alligator lizzard. I'm glad this isn't the one that keeps getting into my pantry...

We walked around the park a little.

So different from the city below...

There were trees!

This is looking up. We couldn't even see our detination...

It was such a cool view!

This was our view leaving the station.

Our "tourist" activity was going on a tram that rotated 360 degrees up to a park at 10,000+ feet. This is the tram.

Maybe Lucky the Pig will bring me some luck with school this year...

The place we love to eat has such a beautiful view!

Sarah & I decided to head out to Palm Springs for some outlet shopping before my school started full-time... As usual, we had a ton of fun and shopped too much :0) We even did a "tourist" activity this time!

Bandit!

Mike & Maggie had a beautiful wedding at IHM and reception downtown! It was so nice to see my friends and celebrate the happy couple!

But, he's a cute little bugger!

He didn't like his bath too much...

And between things...

And behind them...

He LOVES being underneath things...

He lays on his tummy, and his back legs look like chicken legs...especially when he crosses them!

He loves to sleep...A LOT!

Shortly after Bob & Colleen headed back to Michigan I followed for Mike & Maggie's wedding and Mom's birthday! I finally got to meet the new puppy while I was there. Mom & Dad are loving him! He is so tiny & cute!!!

Bob & Colleen Experience Las Vegas

Bob & Colleen loving the display at the Bellagio!

True to form, Nick got "too hot" with the poncho on and took it off mid show. That was just before he got drenched with a spray of cold banana like nasty stuff. The shirt was unsalvagable!

Bob & Colleen after the show.

We ended up with a pile of paper on our laps.

We of course wore them too since we were closer to center stage!

For those in the front few rows (Nick had the brilliant idea of getting us front row) we had to wear ponchos.

Bob & Colleen before the show!

Colleen & I in the Vinetian

We walked past the Blue Man Group theater earlier in the day. We loved this poster!
For thier graduation gifts, we treated Bob & Colleen to a trip out west! We started with a weekend in Vegas and then headed back to Phoenix!

4th of July

Steve & Al came to visit for the 4th of July. We were able to celebrate Al's birthday too! He loved his gift...he is on the right :0)

San Diego with Tom & Leslie

Nick, Tom, and Leslie went boarding. I was too burned :0(

This is the truck that followed behind us feeding the rhinos.

We also got to feed rhinos!

The giraffes liked being up on the top of the hill.

Nick fed him all of the leaves at once!

My turn to feed

We got up close and personal with an 1800 pound giraffe! This is our guide showing us how to feed him.

The park was so beautiful!

The cheetahs

We went to the Wild Animal Park, which was very different from a normal zoo. Nick went nuts because he got to hang with his friend Tom!

Mom-to-Be and Grandma-to-Be

Mom-to-Be (for the third time!)

None of us thought the diaper cakes would get done after Friday night...but they turned out sooo cute!

Landscape Project

We finally decided to tackle the front yard which was driving Nick crazy with its thorns and high maintenance. Below are the before, during, and after pictures.
